A zoo, a seal house with five Baltic grey seals, and a water safari by boat - all on the grounds of a single complex in Strzelinko. Each attraction is ticketed separately, so plan the family budget before you arrive.
Three separate family attractions share the grounds of the Dolina Charlotty resort: a zoo with European bison and macaques, a seal house home to five male Baltic grey seals, and a water safari - a boat cruise between themed islands populated by birds from Africa, South America, and Australia. The site has grown steadily since 2006 and added a butterfly house in 2020.
The full offer runs May through September - the water safari only operates in season, and the zoo is open daily until 18:00. Outside the main season the zoo runs on reduced hours, often weekends only. Allow around two hours for the zoo alone, or half a day with the seal house and boat.
Each of the three attractions requires its own ticket. In peak season the zoo costs PLN 35 (reduced PLN 30), the seal house PLN 25, the water safari PLN 20; family tickets (2+1, 2+2, 2+3) are available. Dogs and other pets are not permitted inside the zoo or seal house. From Rowy it's a 27 km drive via Smołdzino and Potęgowo.
